Hela, Goddess of Death (Marvel Earth-911b) colored.
Really happy with how she turned out, ended up with the bulkier direction since I was split on 2 versions. Blame it on Ultimate Alliance 3 XD. Plus it makes sense since she can physically go toe to toe with characters like Thor and the Hulk
Make sure to check the colored version of my Venom/Wolverine/Jeff piece I did earlier today, very happy with that one as well ^^

someone (I wish I remembered who) used a MCU Thor & Loki quote as a Dick & Jason quote and that got my brain tickling about the congruence because:
In the MCU, Thor and Loki start off close. Thick as thieves. Until Loki discovers his origins and lashes out because Odin lied to him and all his life he's been in Thor's shadow anyway.
In Thor 2 (yes the one we don't speak of) Loki is imprisoned, Odin is *this close* to just disinheriting Loki, and Thor just wants to move on and hang out with his girlfriend. And then Freya, their mother, dies. Immediately the movie tone shifts, and the brothers are united in their grief, with Thor very specifically calling Loki on his bluff (i.e. his projected illusion) and freeing him conditionally. At the end of the film, Loki poses as Odin as Thor declares that he's leaving Asgard (believing, as the audience does, that he's speaking to his father), and as Thor walks away, Loki-as-Odin calls to him to say that he loves him (ahhhhh), both believing this is the last time they'll see each other.
And then Ragnarok happens. This film is campy and the brothers reunite to take down long lost sister Hela, but there is at least one cogent moment between them – the elevator scene – in which Thor states that he's just accepted Loki's nature as a selfish trickster and will no longer rely on him, and Loki just looks distraught, moments before they execute a maneuver they apparently practiced as kids and still pull off flawlessly. Ofc Loki then proves himself and vows to help Thor serve the Asgardian people...moments before Thanos attacks. And Loki sacrifices himself to give Thor a chance to survive and avenge them all.
(I won't get into the show Loki)
What's funny is that these depictions are really only a tad more family friendly than the comics (most of my knowledge is based off The Mighty Thor run), but the idea of Loki wanting to get rid of Thor and never actually bringing himself to do it, growing up in Thor's shadow, and Thor breaking away from his tight-fisted father to live on Earth all persist.
So we have
Older brother who's considered perfect and raised to eventually replace his father figure... ✅
...who then runs off to live his own life and creates a superhero team with his friends ✅
Younger brother who grows up in his elder's shadow, breeding resentment towards him despite still caring for him ✅
And one of the characters fanfic writers ship each of them with most often is the other ✅
Father figure who keeps demanding his sons obey him without question for their own good ✅
these thoughts wouldn't leave me alone so now you have to deal with them too
